This book had been sitting in my Kindle for a while and I finally decided to sit down and read it. Honestly, the first few pages weren't my cup-of-tea and I was worried I had made a wrong choice as is so easy to happen in the Kindle universe. However, I am SO glad I decided to stay on for the ride. The action picks up at the airport when Laney Parks, trying to escape her fiancé's betrayal by taking a Caribbean cruise, bumps into her boss Nicolas Sinclair, who's planning his own betrayal of a potential client. Laney and Nicolas pose as husband and wife to woo said client with Nicolas readily reminding Laney to "Stick to the Script." As in all romance universes we know that that is impossible! So what ensues is a steamy tale of two strong personalities fighting to "keep to the script" without getting their heartbroken.Tiffany Ashley did a wonderful job of weaving dialogue and situations in a way that doesn't border on unbelievable, but instead makes the story flow seamlessly. As you may have read from several other reviewers this book is not for the faint-of-heart as it does include very explicit love scenes, but if you've read anything by Lena Matthews, you're very used to this (and probably love it!). I anxiously await any sequels Ms. Ashley might have in mind for the Sinclairs and kin!

I enjoyed this book so much that I read it in a single setting. The book was so hot it made you consider making that late night phone call or waking up the husband. Read this book and tell your friends too.
What can I say? I loved this book. I wanted to cry when Nick said those awful things to Laney on the boat. I really hope that there will be a sequel. I would like to see what happens when he meets her parents and siblings and vice versa. Will his brothers be smitten by her like every other man? The possibilities for the story make me giddy.
I completly enjoyed this book from beggining to end. The characters are well developed, and the storyline held up the entire way through. Kudos to Tiffany Ashley. My major disapoint is that after reading this book, I immediately looked for more books by this author but...*sigh city*...no other books by the author I could find. Unless I've over looked? If so, help me out somebody because this author is a wonderful writer.
Overall this book was OK. I don't know.....I felt like it was missing something. The characters were developed really well and the editing was on point but overall in my opinion it was lacking something. I also kept getting the feeling throughout that I've read the story before or I've read another book a while back with the exact same plot. I can't put my finger on it and have been racking my brain with little success. Read it and judge it for yourself. You may enjoy the story a whole lot more. Also the constant arguing on the cruise got on my last nerves.
I would like to cut to the chase and say this book was extremely good. What a way to start off my kindle reading. My husband recently suprise me with a kindle and this was the first book I downloaded and read. And may I just say what a great first. I am no stranger to interracial romance novels I have been reading them since forever, but this one was a scorcher. I loved to hate Nicolas and I loved to love Laney. I even like the pain in the butt Cooper. To Tiffany Ashley it would be great to read a sequel involving Cooper. Reading this book was easy and yes there was some graphic language but its not like I didnt expect it, Although when I was reading I changed the really graphic lady parts words. But we are all adults and know what the words mean. Good book, good characters. Please write a sequel with Cooper!

This story was HOT! I haven't given very many 5 star ratings this year and I would give this more if I could. Playboy Nick Sinclair is desperate for a pretend wife to land a huge business deal and along comes Laney Parks who is the opposite of the "cookie cutter" women that Nick is normally with. Laney is more than Nick has bargained for, and he has to struggle with giving up his playboy lifestyle or lose Laney forever. This story had the perfect mix of romance, and I loved the way the book flowed and got right to the point. The author didn't put in a lot of fluff, and the sex scenes were HOT! I'm not a timid person and I want to read hot, steamy, sizzling sex scenes and Tiffany Ashley brought that in this book, plus there were some laugh out loud moments. I love reading interracial romance novels, especially BW/WM but I don't want the issue to become about race but the romance, and this book did that. I paid a little more for my download than what is listed now but it was definitely worth it. I will be looking for more from this author.
Mm..mm..mm. Just what I needed. This is a very great book. It has comical drama, wittiness, love & hot sex. This book is a real page turner which I finished in 1-day. Tiffany you really are in tuned with what majority of us out there love to read. Excellent job! One of the reviewers had expressed disappointment about the use of strong sexual language in the book...AS IF! Come on readers this is the real world and whether some of us choose to admit it or not, strong language is used in our everyday life... both in and out of bed. This book was just being realistic about it. Tiffany did a great job at making the chemistry between the hero and heroine very perceptive....such that intimacy between them was explosive. If you love a great romance novel filled with witty characters and hot sex, then this book was written for you and me...as a result I trust you will also love the book "Passion" by Lisa Valdez. I like to take this opportunity to commend all you readers who take the time out to write reviews, I truly appreciate it. Shout out to those of you who in addition to your reviews also recommend great reads to others. You have the gift of sharing.
